CO₂ EMISSION MONITOR FOR MULTI-LEVEL REPORTING

The Sustainable Flow Emission Monitor is a digital system intended for the monitoring and management of CO₂ emissions in intermodal and multimodal freight transport. The system enables transport operators, ports, and other logistics stakeholders to view, analyse, and manage emission data across different transport modes. Its purpose is to support data-based decision-making, allowing environmental impacts and operational requirements to be assessed as an integrated whole.

Integrated and Standardised Emission Data Processing

The system collects and consolidates emission data from multiple sources. Data may be provided both manually and automatically and can be received in several different formats.

The collected information is compiled into emission reports that comply with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). When necessary, the system applies emission calculation models within backend processes.

Part of the EU-Funded Sustainable Flow Project

As part of the EU-funded Sustainable Flow project (Sustainable flow of goods and decreased CO₂ emissions of transportation), a digital tool for monitoring CO₂ emissions and logistics activities has been procured from Awake.AI.

Pilot ports in the project will be Port of Rauma, Port of Pori, Port of Norrköping, Port of Oxelösund, Port of Mariehamn, Port of Tallinn and Port of Riga for reporting scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
